Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
2 Peaches, chopped
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 stick Butter
1/2 cup Milk

Method
Preheat Oven to 350 F. Put chopped peaches in small pan, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar as well. Sift flour into a mixer or food processor, and add baking powder, salt and sugar in as well. Turn on for 10 seconds, then off, and drop butter in. Pour milk in as well. Turn food processor back on for 15 seconds, then off. Pour content onto peaches in pan. Place in oven until orange-brown colour, and put a large plate next to it. When cobbler comes out of oven, use a wooden spoon to scoop into bowls and place on plate. Peach Cobbler is ready to eat!

Choc Chip Banana Cake

Ingredients
125g Butter
3/4 cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
2 Eggs
2 Large Bananas
1 1/2 cups Self-Raising Flour
1 cup Dark Choc Chips
1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
3/4 cup of Greek Yogurt
2 tsp Icing Sugar



Method
Lightly grease a cake pan. Preheat oven to 180 c. whisk butter and sugar in small bowl until light and fluffly, add eggs and beat until combined. Move content to larger bowl, add in banana, flour, soda, yoghurt and choc chips. Mix until combined. Spread mixture into pan, and bake in oven 45 minutes. When cake is out, serve with icing sugar sprinkled on top.

Christmas Cake

Ingredients
8 ounces Candied Cherries
1 ounce Candied Mixed Citrus Peel
2 cups Sultanas/Raisins
1 cup Dried Currants
1 cup Dates, pitted and chopped
2.25 ounces Blanched Slivered Almonds
1/2 cup Brandy
1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cups All Purpose Flour
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Ground Cloves
1 tsp Ground All-Spice
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Butter
2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
6 Eggs
3/4 cup Molasses
3/4 cup Apple Juice



Method



In a small bowl, put the cherries, citrus peel, sultanas, curramts, dates and almonds. Call this bowl "Number 1". Add the brandy to it, and mix with spatula. Filter brandy by draining it into a glass. Sift in the 1/2 cup flour, and mix with spatula again. Place "Number 1" aside, and take another small bowl. Call this "Number 2". Sift one of the cups of flour into it, and add the ground cloves, all spice and salt to it. Mix with spatula, and place aside next to "Number 1". Take a large bowl (call it "Number 3"), and drop the brown sugar in it. Also add the butter (chop it), molasses, apple juice and eggs. Mix with spatula, sift in the other cup of flour, and have another mix with the spatula. Now add "Number 1's" and "Number 2's" content, and add it to the "Number 3". Use spatula to mix. Tip mixture into tray, put tray in microwave, and cook for 10 minutes or more if needed.


Oat and Sultana Biscuits

Ingredients
90g Sultanas
175g Butter
175g Brown Sugar
1Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
125g Plain Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
125ml Hot Water

Method
Preheat oven to 200 c, and lightly grease 2 oven trays. Pour sultanas and water into small bowl. Give a quick mix, and move to a larger bowl. Add butter and brown sugar, whisk, then add egg, vanilla essence, flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and rolled oats. Now whisk until mixture is combined, roll into balls and place on oven trays about 2cm apart from each other. Cook in oven until hardened.


Berry Smoothie

Ingredients
Small bowl Ice Cubes
1 cup Vanilla Yoghurt
6 Strawberries
6 Blueberries
1 pinch Sugar
1 spoon Honey

Method
Drop ice cubes, yoghurt, strawberries and blueberries in blender, or food processor. Blend for 20 to 30 seconds, more if needed. Add honey and sugar, blend again for five minutes. You're done!

Banana Milkshake

Ingredients
1 Banana
1 glass Milk
2 scoops Ice-Cream
1 spoon Honey
Optional:
1 scoop Cream
3 spoons Hot Chocolate powder

Method
Put everything in food processor. If wanted, add hot chocolate powder. Turn processor on for 20 seconds, when off pour into glass, add a scoop of cream and enjoy!

Simple Icing

Ingredients
3/4 cup Icing Sugar
2 tbsps Boiling Water
5 drops Food Colouring

Method

Mix icing sugar and boiling water in small plate. Add food colouring, mix well, and add to cake quickly.

Spaghetti Bolognaise

Ingredients
1 pkt Pasta
Water
1 Onion, chopped
300g Mince Meat 1 Clove Garlic, diced
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Corn, frozen
3 cups Shredded Cheese
1 tsp Dried Mint
1 tin Diced Tomatoes


Method

1. Put water to boil in pot at full heat. Add pasta, mix every now and then. After 8 minutes, turn off stove and place asid. In separate pot, (to make the sauce) pour the oil. Add the mince meat, and cook for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. When meat is brown, stir in garlic, diced tomatoes, mint and corn. When sauce is slightly thick, turn of heat and serve with shredded cheese and pasta.
